PURPOSE:To start the motor smoothly by performing the synchronization of magnetic pole and magnetic flux of the armature at zero velocity on suspending the commutation of the power inverter after the fixed counting of the counter which is operated when the voltage induced in the field winding exceeds the setting value. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting, the ring counter 8 is lagged 120 degrees by output of the oscillator 7, three logical signals of ''1'' and ''0'' are generated at intervals of 180 degrees to conduct the thyristor of the power inverter SRC, a voltage corresponding to the rotating field made by the primary current is induced in the field winding FLD, the counter 13 is operated by comparing the voltage with the value of crest variable resistance 2RH, the oscillator 7 is stopped to fix the ligical output of the ring counter 8 once after the fixed counting. Thus, a smooth acceleration can be done from the zero velocity by setting the resistance 2RH and counter 13 such that the armature and field fluxes are in phase with each other. |
