TWO LAMP EMERGENCY LIGHTING FIXTURE

PURPOSE:To accomplish higher power factor by means of a second commercial lighting circuit formed employing an AC switch circuit adapted to conduct during the supply of commercial power. CONSTITUTION:Two lamps 4 and 5 are provided at the luminare section 3 in such a manner that at least one of the lamps is lighted by the DC power through an emergency lighting circuit 13 at emergency. One lamp 4 is so arranged to be lighted on a commercial basis by a commercial lighting circuit 8 composed of a series circuit including a choke coil 6 and a capacitor 7. With such an arrangement, the DC power is shut off with a capacitor 7 in the commercial lighting circuit 8 during the transmission of DC current while is formed a second commercial lighting circuit 12 employing an AC switch circuit 11 which comprises a diode bridge 9 and a transistor 10 in such a manner as to conduct during the supply of commercial power. The circuit 12 allows the other lamp 5 to come on.
