PURPOSE:A transfer bar is reduced in length and weight by connecting a feed carrier to the upper portion of said transfer bar so that the interference thereof with a lift clamp mechanism may be avoided and to balance said transfer bar in weight by equalizing the right and left portions thereof to each other. CONSTITUTION:A transfer bar 2 is of a divided type consisting of three portions 2L, 2C and 2R, and placed on lift clamp mechanisms 1L and 1R. Said transfer bar 2 transfer right and left while connected with each other by a feed mechanism 3. Since this connection is made at the upper face of said transfer bar 2 by a feed carrier 8, the left end position of the stroke of said carrier 8 is set on a lift clamp mechanism 1R. Thus, the length of said transfer bar 2 can be reduced as a whole. |
