<p>The food comprises at least one freshly prepd. liquor or juice from a vegetable or fruit together with dried lactic yeats or beer yeasts. The foods are used as substitute or as complementary food. It has the principal constituents of material milk with the advantage that the protein is in a more digestible form than milk casein. The proportions of juice and yeasts are pref. such that the protein, enzyme, vitamin and digo-element contents are substantially those of material milk. Specified juices are from carrot, wheat germ, barley germ and almond milk. Other pref. ingredients are sugar and/or emulsified fats or cereal extracts macerated in water. The lactic yeasts are pref. prepd. by the Bel process.</p> |
