A machine is designed so that fruit canbe de-stoned from a sitting position. The machine housing and the plum holder are positioned with the highest point of the supply chute level with the worktop so that a supply of fruit once inserted rolls down in succession. The incline of the guide and the holder chute as well as the two transverse cutter dividers which are bent upwards ensure the fruit is satisfactorily ejected even if the fruit does not have an even degree of ripeness. A cherry insert allows the appliance to be used for practically all fruit.
