<p>A modification to the circuity of a domestic linen dryer which has an electronic control system, together with a humidity control and a step sequence circuit, eliminates the inconvenience arising from the precautions for the safety of children. When the program is interrupted by the opening of the door, as happens if it is desired to put in more linen, the program stored is cancelled and the step sequence circuit is set back to start. On pressing the start button once, the sequence circuit is run through rapidly to the point at which it was interrupted, and the remaining steps can only be completed after a delay. If during this period of delay the program is reselected, it restarts at the same point without the delay of the sequence being run through.</p> |
