<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a nucleoside-5'-triphosphoric acid useful as a biochemical reagent, industrially and economically, by contacting cells or cultured liquid of fungi belonging to Saccharomyces genus with a specific reaction liquid. CONSTITUTION:A nucleoside-5'-triphosphoric acid such as guanosine-5'-triphosphoric acid (GTP), cytidine-5'-triphosphoric acid (CTP), uridine-5'-triphosphoric acid (UTP), thymidine-5'-triphosphoric acid (TTP), etc., is prepared by reacting an enzyme obtained from specific fungi belonging to Saccharomyces genus, e.g. Saccharomyces cerevisiae ATCC 20018, Candida genus, e.g. Candida zeylanoides ATCC 20356, etc., with a reaction liquid containing (A) a nucleic acid base such as guanine, cytosine, uracil, thymine, etc., (B) a phosphate donor (e.g. KH2PO4), (C) a saccharide (e.g. glucose), and (D) a surface active agent (e.g. 10-18C alkyldimethylamine).</p> |
