PURPOSE:To perform continuous galvanization, etc. for the one side of automobile steel plate, etc., by th procedure in which the non-plating portion of a metal to be plated is given an inorganic compound plating-inhibiting film composed mainly of carbon r carbonfilm before dipping it in plating bath. CONSTITUTION:After passing through the deoiling tank 12, the water washing tank 14, and the drying room 16, the cold rolled steel belt 10 is coated on its non-plating surface with an oil or fat, e.g., tung oil, etc., by means of the roll coater 18, and then introduced into the heat treating furnace 20 of a non-oxidative atmosphere to form a plating inhibiting film by the carburization and baking of the oil or fat. Then, it is introduced into the plating bath 22 for plating and then adhered with a predetermined amount of plating by means of the roll 24. Then, the carburized layer of the non-plating surface is removed by the blushing roll 26 to obtain complete one-side plated steel plate. |
