<p>A transfer installation for empty, folded valve bags has a horizontal supply conveyor. The bags form a layer on the conveyor belt such that the trailing end of one bag is overlapped by the leading end of the following bag. At the end of the conveyor, the belt moves around a large ylinder where an endless location belt is used to place the layer of bags upside down a parallel conveyor underneath. At the end of this conveyor, a suction transfer arm feeds one bag at a time into a printing station.</p> |
