PURPOSE:To generate the frequency signals of single tones corresponding to key positions by providing a key assigner which so controls as to generate the single tone frequency signals of the frequencies corresponding to the positions of keys. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of single tone frequency signal generating circuits 8a thru 8d are supplied to a synthesizer 18 and are added and the addition output thereof is obtained in output terminal 19. A key assigner 20 drives those which have not yet generated the single tone frequency signals output of the plural single tone frequency signal generating circuits 8 in the specified sequence based on the timing signals from a timing signal generating circuit 2 and so controls as to generate the single tone frequency signals of the frequencies corresponding to the positions of the keys having been operated based on the index function signals from an index function signal generating circuit 7 at the timings of the timing signals corresponding to the positions of the keys having been operated. |
