<p>The sheath for structures which are tube-shaped, is esp. suitable for chimneys, pylon or tower structures, cooling towers or silos. The structure is made up from thin profiled sheet metal plates (2), form-lock connected to each other in every direction. The structure can have stiffening provided by one or more rings, stiffened with prestressed spokes. There can also be at least one pressure-resistant rigid support, running vertically and pref. concentrically.</p> |
