PURPOSE:To obtain high resolution, reduce the effect of the evolution of heat on substrate and prevent the decrease in heat resistance life by making the number of heating resistors as large as possible per unit area and widening the mutual spacings. CONSTITUTION:Heating elements 2a, 2b, ... are arrayed in dot form in the X direction on a substrate 1 and the dot spacings of the heating resistors 2 are made wider, e.g., 35 to 40mum or more. As a result, the pulse application of 1 x 10<7> times or over necessary as a thermal head is made feasible. |
