The adjustable coil is designed so that adjustment takes place parallel to the surface of the thick-film circuit. The connecting wires are connected to the thick-film circuit by a conductive adhesive. The part of the coil former (1) with the internal thread has a slit (8) in order to use the plastic's elastic properties to provide 'braking' for the externally-threaded core (7) that screws into this part. The coil has a magnetic return piece (6) for its core and is enclosed in a screen.
