PURPOSE:To produce a heat-sensitive recording element, which is safe from the heat after the recording operation, by laminating both a layer having a sublimate dye and a supporting layer upon the back side of another supporting layer, which is formed on its surface with such a heat- sensitive layer as develops a color when heated, thereby to produce the heat-sensitive recording element. CONSTITUTION:A layer 3 containing such a sublimate dye as will sublimate at a temperature of about 80 to 220 deg.C such as Stora Blue Base (which is a trade name of a production of Bayer Co., Ltd.) or Sudan Red (Schltz No. 976) and a supporting layer 3 for supporting the layer 3 are laminated in contact upon the back side of a heat-sensitive recording paper which is prepared by forming a supporting layer 2 of a heat-sensitive layer with a two-component color developing heat- sensitive layer 1, which is composed of phenol substance and such a color developing substance as will develop color when it reacts with the phenol substance as a result that it is heated, thereby to produce a heat-sensitive recording element. If a heating element A is brought into contact with the aforementioned recording element, the heat-sensitive layer 1 reacts to develop the color, and the dye sublimates from the dye layer 3 into the supporting layer 4 thereby to develop the color. After the recording process, the record of the supporting layer 4 can be held safe even from the heat by being separated. |
