PURPOSE:To facilitate the test performance of the data process circuit for the picture signal and others by providing such means as the test signal generating means, the threshold level generating means, the means to compare the test signal with plural threshold levels, and the means to decide the quality of the tested circuit respecticely. CONSTITUTION:The test signal of signal (a) is supplied to tested circuit 2 from test signal generating part 1, and signal (b) passed through circuit 2 has distortion. Signal (b) is read out through data reading part 3 and then sent to comparison part 4 to be compared with threshold levels THi-THi+3 given from threshold level generating part 7. Then the data exceeding the threshold level is sampled, and the number of the data is counted at counting part 5. And the result is sent to decision part 6 where the number of the grown samples is set. The sampled data are compared with every threshold level at part 6 to decide the quality of the circuit. Thus, an easier test becomes possible than that through conventioanl decision by the oscilloscope. |
