PURPOSE:To automize the corrective operation, by providing the means detecting data error read out from the main memory section, the means detecting the location of the error, and means correcting it and writing in it with the processor. CONSTITUTION:The start of execution of the input and output operation is instructed to the magnetic disc unit 7 from the central processor 1, and it is started with the magnetic disc control section 3 via the microprogram control section 2. Next, the disc unit 7 is selected with the control section 3, and the channel command section including the input and output information is read out one by one with the main memory section 4. With this constitution, if there is any error in the data, the control section 3 judges whether it can be corrected or not, and if possible, the data corrective operation is instructed to the microprogram control section 2. Further, the content stored in the address register 5 and that of the main memory section 4 requiring the correction are calculated with the control section 2, and the address of the main memory section 4 is rewritten by correcting the data. |
