PURPOSE:To perform many pieces of music for a long time by using a memory card to have built-in code information corresponding to the score of the music and a music box main body to generate an electronic sound with the information stored to the memory card. CONSTITUTION:In a music box 2 main body, a semiconductor memory and a logic circuit 22 for a control to be connected to a connector 21 and to read the code information corresponding to the music stored in a memory card 1 are built, and the read code information is sent to a memory module 23 to synthesize the music. In the melody module 23, a PCM sound source for each musical instrument or the sound source of each musical instrument by the synthesis of sound source waves is stored into the melody module 23 beforehand, and a reproduction is executed based on the information from the memory card 1. A signal from the melody module 23 is sent to a low-pass filter and an amplifier 24 to amplify the signal, a loundspeaker 25 is driven by the signals from the low-pass filter and amplifier 24, and the sound is emitted to an external part. Thus, many pieces of music can be performed for a long time. |
