<p>The sheet metal sections are for incorporation in panelled doors or similar, comprising edge sections and panels. Two edge sections are joined to two panels to form a hollow door panel, the former comprising reversible 'U' sections with a single central perpendicular step in their webs. One panel may be ribbed the other being plane, and the assembled door panel may be filled with insulating materials. A sealing strip may be incorporated in the joints, final panel dimensions being obtained by trimming the panels after assembly. Completed door panels may fit in a frame of a section similar to the edge section, and doors may be built of several panels connected by vertical or horizontal articulating joints.</p> |
