Calcium compds. were removed by precipitation with sulfuric acid from molasses. Thus, molasses 1 k1 diluted with water 0.93Kl, heated at 60-80≦̸C and adjusted to pH 2.5-4.0 with sulfuric acid, were placed for an hr. and centrifuged with high speed centrifuger to remove precipitation of calcium sulfate.
