The wing frame is inserted in a composite frame made up from a stock frame and an outside covering profile, in the composite window or door. The interval between the frames is fitted with a sealing unit. This(11) is in the form of a sealing plate(12) braced against the stock frame(4) and connected to it. One of its ends(13) fits against the covering profile(6) and the front of the stock frame, while the other end(14) fits directly against the wing frame(2), or against a sealing unit set on this, by means of a sealing lip(15) formed onto it. The gap is fully draught and water proof, and water cannot penetrate behind the sealing, regardless of uneven areas or wear in material, nor even if the wing is at an angle.
