Mast transverse support arrangement - is used for overhead cable suspension ensuring free movement of cable supporting rope

The overhead cable support mast assembly ensures that point of application of load is situated at the intersection of the centre of gravity of upper and lower members. The tip of the transverse arrangement supports directly the conductor carrying ropes. On using the transverse arrangement insulated relative to the mast for direct suspension of high voltage overhead cables there is arranged at the tip of the transverse arrangement a cruciform pivot element. This has bearing pins(9) which are fastened between the arms of U bracket at the tip of the transverse arrangement. The pivot arrangement consists of a sleeve(7) with centre bore on which the bearing pin(9) is welded sideways.
