The bottle opener has a lifting head (1) which is made of a standardised profiled material, especially round, hexagonal or square material. The lifting head (1) has a V-shaped recess (2) and a lifting hook (4). The lifting head (1) is provided with projections (6, 7). On one (6) of the latter there is seated a metal sleeve (17) which is covered, e.g. with leather (18), and serves as the handle of the bottle opener. An attachment, such as a ballpoint pen (11-13), may be seated on the other projection (7). The bottle opener has a key ring (20) on the end facing away from the lifting head (1). Use of the standardised profiled material for the lifting head (1) means that the bottle opener can be produced relatively cheaply. <IMAGE>
