Wind turbine mast structure - has assembly stay on the side, with hydraulic tensioner enabling raising and lowering

The mast has a base, connected to foundations via a hinge, which allows folding down. It also has tie ropes or stays, with tensioners, and a connected prop. which acts as an aid during erection and folding down. One or more of the stays(14) are formed as an assembly unit for the mast(7). A unit to apply a tensioning force(20) is connected to the ground-sided end of the stay. Only one assembly stay is located on the side of the mast opposite to the folding down side. The tensioner for that stay consists of a hydraulic servo cylinder.
