The temp. sensor has its pair of thermal leads (6, 7) connected mechanically at the measuring point to a disc (9) of material with good thermal conductivity which is placed at the open end of the protective tube. The disc may be held in an insulating sleeve (10) consisting of preferably ceramic material which is introduced and locked in the open end of the protective tube. The insulating sleeve may be locked and protected by flanging of the tube end. A two hole insulating tube (4) may be used to hold the pair of thermal leads.
