Domestic cutter for carpets - unrolled web being held under spring loaded crossbeam which is guide for cutting knife

Carpets, also paper, plastics and fabrics, are cut out on a roller machine with a mounting for the roll which is fixed to a cutting crossbeam parallel to the axis of the mounting, and a knife along that beam. The mounting consists of two parallel arms with holes for a rod to hold the web of material. Arrangement is rapid and reliable, absolutely straight cutting in both directions, suitable for domestic operators.
