The conveyor installation is for the continuous transportation of objects such as bottles etc. with at least one link chain band or a plate chain band, the chain links of which have one large level surface each on which the objects are being moved. Drive elements (16) are fitted at regular intervals along the chain band (10) and are located on the level surface of individual chain links (12). the distance between adjoining driver elements (16) is slightly larger than the dia. of the objects to be conveyed at the height of the drive elements (16).
