The damping arrangement is used for the piston of a door pneumatic actuating cylinder. The control arrangement at the end of cylinder is connected reliably and with selas with the cylinder chamber. The cylinder wall is enclosed with an enveloping tube (29) forming a narrow annular gap (31). The cylinder wall has holes in the piston stroke movement end regions and actuating control connections of the pneumatic switching arrangement (11). The actuating connections are connected to the annular gap.
