The device comprises a fan deck (1) driven by a motor and a distribution deck (11) integrally attached to the latter and consisting of a tray (13) intended to be brought near the level of the liquid (25) to be treated. The tray (13) has a central opening (15) through which the liquid is drawn under the effect of the fan (1) and mixed with the gas fed between the fan deck (1) and the distribution deck (11). The mixture is ejected between the peripheral lips (35, 37). The device is employed for sewage treatment and chemical reactors. <IMAGE>
