A method for manufg. elastic sheets using fibrous materials such as vegetable fibers, inorganic fibers, etc. suitable for buffer materials in packing and construction was described. ! Pulverized fibers were treated to give a pulverized fiber sheet layer having uniform thickness and large width, and a surface of the layer was coated with an adhesive agent. (I) The title sheets were manufd. by inserting a sheet lamina between I and a heated press surface of the embossing mold, heating, and pressing. An adhesion of I to the sheet lamina by polymerization and embossing molding could be carried out simultaneously.
