PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a gas generator and to reduce the impact of the gas generator when expanding a bag by providing an all solid gas generator using all solid gas generating agent as gas generating source without using high pressure gas. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical container is composed by concentrically disposing an ignitor tube 1, an inner tube 2 and a diffuser tube 3 and closing the both ends with caps 5, 6, with a squeezer 4 electrically ignited as mounted at the cap 5 side of the tube 1. Solid gas generating agent 8 containing mainly alkaline metal azide or alkaline earth metal azide is filled in the space between the tubes 1 and 2, and coolant 9 and filter 10 are filled in rolled shape of hollow cylindrical form between the tubes 2 and 3. Then, the container is attached to a bag 19, and a knee pad 20 is attached to a holder 17. |
