<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the action time of the trip circuit while improving the reliability with addition of inspection an inspection and monitoring circuit employing a thyristor switch for the trip circuit of the breaker in place of the contact of the electromagnetic relay. CONSTITUTION:To drive a trip coil TC-1 to 3 of a breaker, thyristors SCR1 and SCR2 are respectively in series to related components. As a monitoring circuit for the on/off state, a relay S1 is connected in parallel to the thyristor SCR1 through a normally closed contact of a relay RX. Likewise, as a monitoring circuit, a relay M1 is connected in parallel to the thyristor SCR2. A parallel circuit containing a thyristor SCR3, a normally closed contact 11Xb of a relay 11X as an inspection starting switch means, and an auxiliary relay 11Y for checking trip lock is connected in series to a series circuit comprising the thyristors SCR1 and SCR2 and the trip coil TC-1.</p> |
