PURPOSE:To improve thermal response by forming electrodes, a resistor and a wear resistant layer through an insulating layer of a vitreous coating layer on a steel plate which contains one or more of Fe, Ni, Cr, and Cu cladding on one or both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 1a wherein a copper plate 2 is clad at metal 1 containing at least one of iron, nickel, chromium, is covered with a glass insulating layer 3, a common electrode 5 and individual electrodes 4 made of conductor electrode of gold are further formed, a common heat generating resistor 6 made of ruthenium oxide is formed on the electrodes, and a wear resistant layer 7 is further formed thereon. In this case, the glass insulating layer is 100-150mum thick, and the copper plate is 10-30mum thick. The rising and falling temperature characteristic of a heat generator can be improved with the above configuration, thereby printing in high density at a high speed. |
