<p>PURPOSE:To provide a device for inverting a steel plate, which disposes first and fourth arms at the upper and second and third arms at the lower to reduce the occupying space so as not to almost alter the position of the steel plate around the inversion of the plate. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate S transferred onto a stationary skid 28 is transferred at the end thereof onto a truck 24 by the elevational motion of a skid 27, and then transferred onto first arm 2 of horizontal state by the movement of the truck 24 toward inverting device 1. The arm 2 thus receiving the steel plate S is rotated downwardly to carry the steel plate S onto the liner 22 of the platform to be interposed between the arms 3 and 4 by sequentially moving the second and third arms 3, 4 to be then falled down toward the arm 4 side. Then, the steel plate S is raised in inverted state by the fourth arm rotated upwardly from the lower rotary limit to be then transferred onto a skid 28' by the operation of the truck 24' of opposite side.</p> |
