PURPOSE: To easily perform optical coupling by guiding the movement of a first connector main body to a second connector main body in a direction for crossing first and second optical axes, engaging a first stoppage means to a second stoppage means and matching the first optical axis with the second optical axis. CONSTITUTION: An assembly 100 is provided with plural circuit boards 140 slidably housed in card guides 112 and provided with a board edge electric contact 142 at the front edge 144 of the circuit board and an optical connector component 150 with an interval on a front part from the front edge 144 adjacent to the side part edge 146 of the circuit board 140. For the sliding insertion of the circuit board 140 to the card guide 112, in order to mutually electrically connect the circuit boards, the board edge electric contact 142 is forced to a board edge electric connector 116 and then, the optical components 120 and 150 are matched in the direction for crossing the direction of insertion. Since the circuit boards 140 are optically connected with each other in such a manner, optical coupling is easily performed. |
