PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement operation by making an ink cartridge freely detachable with respect to a recording head part while providing an engaging means between the ink cartridge and the recording head part and making it possible to simultaneously detaching the recording head part through the engaging means at the time of replacement. CONSTITUTION:In such a state that an ink cartridge 1 is mounted on a recording head part 2, the recording head part 2 is positioned to be held by stopper members 3B and, further, a lock lever 13 is stretched over the ink cartridge 1 from above to fix and mount the whole to a carriage 3. Since the ink cartridge 1 is mounted to the recording head part 2 so that connection force stronger than the holding force by the stopper members 3B holding the recording head part 2 to the carriage 3 is held, in the case of detachment, the ink cartridge 1 can be easily detached along with the recording head part 2 only by releasing the locked state due to the lock lever 13 and, therefore, after both of them are detached, for example, the ink cartridge 1 or the recording head part 2 can be easily separated. |
