<p>The saddlery or harness item comprises sets of alternating leather(1) and metal links(8). The leather links are each made from a rectangular tongue just long enough to be doubled over, and secured in the middle by one or more rivets (15, 16). The design allows use to be made of leather offcuts which would otherwise have to be discarded. The leather links can be secured by one or two rivets each, and the metal links can be rectangular.</p> |
