PURPOSE:To superpose high frequency on unit pulse to improve the dispersion effect of discharge, working stability and working speed. CONSTITUTION:Electrostatic machining is carried out by pulse series of unit pulse having short set pulse width r on s and space r off and interrupted by no-pulse space r off, wherein high frequency HF is superposed on said unit pulse to change the electric field distribution pulse of discharge point by this high frequency HF for improving the dispersion property of discharge portion, preventing electrode and work surface of workpiece from abnormal rise of temperature and maintaining stable working. |
