<p>The axial flow fan (4) is housed in a square flat box. The box houses a cylindrical shroud central of a length less than the depth of the box. The motor stator (5) is fixed to the box by transverse radial arms. Near each box corner is a space (7) between the fan housing and a box side. This forms an outlet for air and is in the plane of one box side (8). Some of the cavity is partly filled with sound deadening material.</p> |
