<p>The electronic musical instrument with a number of registers and/or register combinations, has a foot operated control for selecting the register in which the music is played. This foot control includes a light source (2) and a number of photo-detectros (F1-F4) for providing a train of control signals. A curved screen (5) lies between the source (2) and the photodetectors (F1-F4) and is provided with code perforations, the screen moved into a given position, to select the required code group, by depressing a foot plate. Pref. the photodetectors (F1-F4) are coupled to an information conversion circuit (BCD1, BCD2) providing coded signals for a control gating matrix (G2-G11).</p> |
