Chain guard for bicycle - has separate crank and wheel guards for multi crank design, and sliding mountings

The chain guard for a bicycle has the outside of the crank wheel fitted with a circular shield (2) while the chain is covered with a separate guard (6). The chain guard is fitted to the gear change guide (3) and moves with it to cover the chain over several crank wheels. The chain guard is additionally secured on the frame (8) by sliding mountings. Some overlap between the guards ensures that the rider's clothing is not caught.
