<p>The shower washbasin and bidet fitting automatically monitors water temperature, and acts as a critical limit to prevent danger of scalding. In the circuit the mixer assembly is followed by a choke element such as wax expansion unit (4) with valve seating (8) and valve heat (13) to reduce normal water flow to a small fraction before scalding temperature is reached. It may completely cut-off outflow while a runoff (18) usually closed permits a reduced volume of water to emerge. Critical temperature may be adjustable by moving the valve seating.</p> |
