The system has a d.c. current source and an output transistor whose collector is connected through a transformer primary winding to the supply source. Its emitter is connected through a control resistor to the supply source other terminal. Its base control current is limited by a control transistor. The base of the control transistor is connected through an auxiliary transistor to the output transistor emitter as in 26 42 314. The auxiliary transistor (11) has its base connected to an additional transistor (12) base and to a branching point (A) and its emitter to a voltage divider (17, 18).
