<p>The fully lined disc brake for heavy goods vehicles has four or more discs. The inner or outer closed brake housing has an hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical bracing unit and acts via an intermediary ring on two further friction surfaces. Between every two lining discs is a pressure medium operated bracing unit and a pressure-released spring feed operated bracing unit and a pressure-released spring feed bracing unit. Alternatively, between two discs a combined brace unit is arranged. One of the two bracing units, or both combined into one alternative unit, transmits axial operating force from the other released operating part in the block location.</p> |
