The equipment for transurethral urology includes an operating table alongside a column (3) for the apparatus (2). This is a unit with provision for high frequency energy, cold light, air, gas, water and auxiliary equipment and sterile water, with its fine filter, at a central water distribution point. The latter includes a pressure reducer and an electronically controlled dispensing system. This dispensing system includes an adjustable electronic counter and flowmeter controling a dispensing valve. There is also an optical indicator for the amount of sterile water discharged.
