Metering reagents for foam plastics - with revolving rollers acting on flexible strips inside cylinder to determine unit volumes

At least two low-high viscosity liquids under pressure are simultaneously metered volumetrically using separate synchronised batching chambers with moving walls, these chambers being arranged to accept and discharge set volumes. Each chamber is a shallow curved space at the circumference of a cylinder and with an inlet at one end and outlet at the other; at least one wall of each chamber is flexible and has a pressure roller rotating under pressure along that flexible wall on a circle round the axis of the cylinder, these rollers are arranged symmetrically at an angle to the cylinder axis which is smaller than that of the curvature of the chamber. Process is accurate even with component materials under pressure (e.g. of a foaming agent in foam plastics production), continuous operation, output can be interrupted without any valves to be jammed.
