<p>PURPOSE:To enable stable orientation to be obtained voluminously and enable passivation effect for impurities from electrode substrates to be obtained by using a total aromatic polymer film having hetero rings as an orientation controlling agent. CONSTITUTION:The mixed solution of 5wt% of a total aromatic polymer, e.g., polyimide base and 95wt% of an organic amine solvent is coated with a spinner on the mating surfaces of two sheets of electrode substrates, at least one whereof is transparent. Next, the polymer is filmed by heat treatment up to 300 deg.C. After this, the film is rubbed, whereby fine grooves are readily formed. In this way, processing from several 10 Angstrom thickness which are merely intended for orientation up to from several 100 Angstrom to several 1000Angstrom in order to prevent the effect of diffusion impurities from the electrode substrates is accomplished according to objects. This polymer has good high temperature heat resistance.</p> |
