The bearing assembly, for a low-power electric motor, has a ball bearing at each end of the shaft. Each ball bearing (11) can be displaced in the direction of the rotor's axis together with the assembly ring. The ring and bearing move in the bearing holder. The ring is pressed against the bearing plate (1) by a return spring. The ring is is a slotted diaphragm spring (5) whose outer edge rests on the inside of the bearing plate and inner edge in a groove (6) in the bearing.
