The point source of light can be inserted directly into a standard mains power socket for ordinary light bulbs. This low voltage lighting fitting has a built-in transformer (5) and optical reflectors. The lighting fittings can be directly inserted into standard socket for immediate operation. The low voltage unit of this light source forms integral unit with reflector for replacement. Alternatively, the low voltage part can form an independent unit for replacement. The uni is shaped approx. like an ordinary electric light bulb and has the standard type of screw engagement.
