Concrete pipe for sewage or drain water - has outer sheath of normal concrete with inner lining of synthetic resin concrete

The pipe has a female socket at one end, and the lining extends over the entire bore of the pipe including the socket. the synthetic resin concrete (SRC) forming the lining is bonded to the outer sheath; and the wall thickness of the finished pipe corresp. with that of a pipe made only of normal concrete. The lining pref. also covers the end of the pipe, and is 10-12 mm thick; the SRC pref. contains sand with grain size 0-4 mm. The outer sheath is pref. fitted with a cap on each end and rotated on a horizontal axis for centrifugal casting of the SRC lining, followed by hardening of the SRC.
