PURPOSE:To make a battery compact and lightweight and to rationalize parts control by pressing cell groups placed through a melt-adhesive resin film arranged in the form of bellows to a specified value of pressure, and sealing the four sides of the resin film. CONSTITUTION:Cell groups 1 are connected through a resin film 2 arranged in the form of bellows between cell groups, and electrical conductive parts 3 are installed in each cell as the terminals for the plates. The resin film 2 is pressed so that the cell groups have a specified pressure, and opening sides 4, 6 of the resin film are sealed. A number of cell groups are accommodated in the resin film, and increase of weight, parts, and material is prevented, and an outer jacket is freely formed according to the thickness of the cell groups. Constant pressure can be applied to the cell group independent of the dispersion of the thickness of parts such as separator. A battery is made compact and lightweight and parts control is rationalized. |
